The cozy rooms provided a great base after our adventures at Jokulsarlon and nearby waterfalls. The staff were super friendly and breakfast was solid. A little tip for future guests, check out the museum on-site if you can squeeze it in. Overall, a lovely experience for our group!

However, the check-in process was awkward since it’s not clearly marked at the reception area. It was a bit confusing to figure out where to go.

The double bed was actually two twins pushed together, which was a bit different, but it didn’t ruin our stay! 😊

The room was spacious with hardwood floors and a large private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. We enjoyed a great view of the nearby ocean. Breakfast was a highlight with plenty of local options. The restaurant's lamb soup was delicious. There was a nice area for drying wet gear, adding a practical touch.

The staff was exceptionally accommodating, even preparing a late meal for us after our long journey. Our room was spacious and provided comfortable sleeping arrangements for the entire family.

Our triple room was spacious and boasted a stunning ocean view. The location was spot on for glacier access, and we even had free parking! Plus, having unlimited tea and coffee available was simply delightful.

The breakfast was good, but who knew I'd have to work off those extra calories by going on an epic trek for dinner? A little closer dining would’ve been lovely!

Hali Country Hotel offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with beautiful glacier views from the common areas. The accessible facilities made my stay enjoyable, allowing for easy movement throughout the hotel and its surroundings.

This place suits me perfectly! Free parking, a comfortable lounge area, and great wi-fi. The staff helped me find a valuable lost item on my first stay, which I remember fondly. Highly recommend dining here! I’m coming back for Christmas.

my family and I enjoyed our stay as we could easily visit the beautiful Diamond Beach and take amazing photos at Vestrahorn. The staff were super friendly and helpful during our meals, making it a perfect home base for our explorations.
